I love Easter for so many reasons. Daffodils and crocuses peep through the soil which is starting to warm, the bank holiday is a welcome break and family celebrations return.
Mother's Day is celebrated all over the world, in different months and with various traditions. Whatever the differences, the heart of the matter is to spoil our mum and allow her to put her feet up.

We all have our quirks, mine is a love of words. The changing way we communicate intrigues me. My absolute bugbear is text speak, I really haven't a clue what all those acronyms mean, and nor do I want to.
