Graham's Cheese Moment - Caws Cenarth Caerphilly

Today is St. David's Day, a day of daffodils, leeks and dragons which means it must be time for us to stand well back and let Graham slip into another of his Cheese Moments. Graham often waxes lyrical about the time he cooked a midnight feast of cheese on toast for Gruffudd ap Llywelyn whilst working as the royal poisoner of wine goblets in the court of Edward the Confessor, The only cheese fit for a king? Why, Caerphilly of course!

Graham's Cheese Moment - Langres

Has it really been a whole month since the delight of Graham's January Cheese Moment? This month, Graham has mainly been dreaming about his previous life as a jester in the court of Louis XIV of France, who paid him personally in cheese. Whilst he may have shed the bells on his toes, Graham is still paid his salary in cheese. This month, he's rich with Langres.

Graham's Cheese Moment - La Tur

It's the beginning of another month and of course another year, so it's about time we wheeled Graham out of his cupboard for another cheese moment. So without further ado, here's the man himself with this month's cheese, La Tur.

Port & Cheese

Port: that rich, silky, heady elixir that's been a staple of the British festive dining table for centuries. For many, a bottle of Port coupled with a fragrant array of cheese is the gastronomic highlight of Christmas day. But there are many different types of Port, and a whole world of cheese out there, so which Port suits which cheese? Is it all just about Stilton? Luckily as purveyors of fine cheese and Port, we have the answers! But first, what is Port and where does it come from?

Italian Christmas Treats

It's no secret the most anticipated moments during the festive season are food related. During the winter we hold tradition and heritage very close to our hearts whether it's midnight mass or demolishing a Chocolate Log in one sitting one thing is for certain, we love food here in the UK! But what do the Italians, world leaders in style, luxury and gastronomic delight, eat at Christmas?

Pairing Wine with Venison

From October onwards the Venison season is upon us and what a season it is! Magnificent and versatile meat, there are so many delicious ways to cook it - but which wine should you drink with it? You simply must do this wonderful meat justice, so here are my three favourite venison dishes with three perfect wine pairings.
