Lavender Honey 130g
Our new Lavender honey is from Cordoba, Andalucia. This is a light, fragrant honey with a warm, calming taste of lavender flowers. It comes from bees feeding on lavender bushes. They feed in an area of biodiversity in Cordoba called the Parque Natural de Cardena, famous for its wild rosemary and lavender.
The bees are looked after in an artisan, traditional way, using only manual techniques. The bees are given a three week holiday from honey collection every six weeks. This gentle care for the bees helps give the honey a gentle, natural warm flavour.
As well as being delicious on toast, it is very versatile and can be used in salad dressings, cakes, pancakes, breads, pastas, teas and more. It is also good as a skin care treatment to heal burns, cuts, abrasions and infections.
