The second instalment in GlenAllachie’s Sinteis Series (from the Scottish Gaelic for ‘synthesis’) showcases a meeting of two worlds: rare Scottish virgin oak and classic oloroso sherry casks. Matured since 2015, this cask strength single malt celebrates the harmony of contrasts, with the bold character of homegrown oak tempered by the rich, familiar depth of sherry. It's presented at 58.2% ABV, with natural colour and non-chill filtration.

Nose
Aromas of mocha and grilled honeycomb open, joined by sun-dried red berries, cinnamon butter, and a twist of toasted lemon peel, dusted with muscovado sugar.
Palate
Waves of heather honey and bright citrus give way to warming baking spices, gingersnaps, and poached orchard fruits. Mocha returns, mingling with silky vanilla buttercream.
Finish
Lingering dark chocolate, nutmeg, and a touch of spiced orange, wrapped in a balance of sweet and oak-rich depth.
