Leconfield Cabernet Franc
2595
Medium-full red with scarlet hues. The aroma shows elegant, ripe mulberry fruits, with a hint of dark chocolate. Oak plays a subliminal role in this wine to allow the varietal fruit to shine through.
One of the top producers of Cabernet Sauvignon in Australia, Leconfield regularly wins trophies and medals at wine shows. The vines were planted in 1974 by Sydney Hamilton and he acquired the estate from his uncle, Richard Hamilton in 1981. The total vineyard plantings now measure just under 45 hectares.
