Tasting Note

The Angeline Russian River Pinot Noir has full aromas on the nose of weighty cherry fruit as well as some smoky spice in there too. In the mouth, the refreshing fruits carry a bright acidity on the attack, but delivered with a friendly pat on the back as it ushers you into the mid-palate with generous red fruits aided by some toasty oak notes framing the generous mouthfeel. The soft tannins and easygoing nature develop nicely in the glass, making this a fine accompaniment to the turkey and cranberry sauce double-bill.
