TASTING NOTE

This wine is from the El Enebro estate which resides 400 metres above sea level. The wine has intense, floral nose with aromas of lychee and rose and a persistent, aromatic richness on the palate. Silky, spicy flavours marry with perfumed floral notes to produce a wine that can only be Gewürztraminer.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Beginning in 1985, Somontano is a young and dynamic Denominación de Origen. In just a few years it has succeeded in earning itself a fine winemaking reputation. Taking its name from the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains, Somontano is an area of rolling hills and chalky soil, with cold, harsh winters and hot summers. It offers unbeatable growing conditions for vines.

Founded in 1986, Viñas del Vero is the leading producer in the DO. and accounts for 40% of production. It is well recognised for making superb wines from both indigenous and international grape varieties.
