Vivacious ruby red colour. Intense aromas of earth, spice, blackberry fruit and old leather bound books. The palate is well balanced with vanilla, spice, leather and black cherry notes leading to a long finish.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Maceration and fermentation of the grapes takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats for 18 days. The resulting wines are aged between 6 months and one year in oak barrels before racking and bottling.
The wine is a result of the synthesis in the search for innovation in the new clones of Sangiovese and the production techniques. One year after making the Sangiovese, 5% each of Merlot and Canaiolo are added to finish.
