TASTING NOTE

This wine is intense ruby red in colour. On the nose, there are vibrant aromas of red fruits and floral notes, On the palate, it is well-balanced, with smooth tannins and a lively, refreshing acidity. A perfect food wine with good structure and a long finish.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

This 160-hectare property has been owned by the Guedes family since 1996. It is situated in the southern part of the Alentejo, on the limestone soils of Vidigueira . As this is the warmest part of the region, it has 152 hectares of red varieties (Aragonís, Trincadeira, Alfrocheiro, Periquita, Moreto and Touriga Nacional) and only eight hectares of white grapes (Antío Vaz and Arinto). Winemaker Luís Cabral de Almeida makes fruit-expressive wines that reflect the warmer climate of Vidigueira.
