Allegrini La Grola
3595
A full bodied, intense and elegant wine with a bouquet of wild berries, tobacco and coffee. The palate has a lovely concentration of fruit and a long, complex finish.
The Allegrini family estate covers 100 hectares of vineyard in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico area. The family has been growing grapes here for six generations, but the estate in its current form was founded by Giovanni Allegrini. La Grola was bought by Allegrini in 1979 and is situated on the renowned hill that gives the wine it's name at 310 metres above sea level.
