Zenato Valpolicella Superiore
TASTING NOTE
This wine is a riot of cherries and wild berries. One of the smoothest operators in the world of wine, it's medium to full-bodied with a long, velvety finish.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
In the heart of the Lugana area on the southern shores of Lake Garda, the winery was established in 1960, when the late Sergio Zenato and his wife Carla started to create quality wines from the local grape variety Trebbiano di Lugana.
The Zenato winery now owns 75 hectares in total, 40 in San Benedetto di Lugana and 35 hectares in Sant'Ambrogio, in the Valpolicella Classico area. The Zenato name is synonymous with Amarone and they have continuously produced Amarone and Amarone Riserva of immense complexity and depth, to international acclaim.
