Deep red, with an intense aroma of red and black fruits accompanied by delicate floral notes. Its passage through oak brings notes of vanilla, chocolate and roasted coffee in perfect balance with the fruit. In the mouth it is a joy, with ripe, sweet tannins and a long and persistent finish. This is a huge Malbec in every way and a hugely popular wine with our in-store customers.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Producing wines under the 'Tapiz' name, the winery was originally built in 1999 when the Californian wine company, Kendall-Jackson expanded into Argentina. After four years the winery was purchased by Fincas Patagonicas who decided to take the Tapiz wines away from primarily the US market, to more of an international market. America's loss is our gain we feel.
This is one of the most technologically advanced wineries in Argentina. With 140 ha of vineyards to choose from in Mendoza and Cafayate, at elevations between 880 - 1400 metres, combined with different soil types, it allows for a great range of wines, each showing the best varietal character.
