Pale lemon straw colour with notes of grapefruit on the nose and lemon accompanying banana and mango on the palate, which is dry but freshly fruity to boot.Great value wine!
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
There is more to Argentina wines than Mendoza! Situated at the foot of the Andes in the region of San Juan (Argentina's second highest wine producing region after Mendoza) is the Tulum Valley. It's quite remote and rather arid (low annual rainfall and an average annual temperature close to 20 degrees).
Before vines were planted, shepherds and their flocks populated the region and so frequently sheep would go missing in the rocky foothills that locals would suggest that they had been abducted by aliens - hence the label on the wine bottle. The wines of Somewhere Else are single vineyard wines, giving varietal characteristics combined with the feeling of sunshine, indicative of the stress the grape vines undergo in these arid settings.
