TASTING NOTE

This is McLaren Vale Shiraz at its finest. From the acclaimed 'Jones Block', this wine is well regarded for its generous, yet elegant style. A small parcel was selected from our century old vines for complex fruit flavours and seamless structure. Grapes are hand pruned; wine is aged in fine grained French and American oak. As always, no corners cut. A rich, savoury and spicy blend, this wine has a fleshy middle palate and great length. 

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Paxton Vineyards hail from the McLaren Vale in South Australia and were established in 1979 by David Paxton and his wife. David is one of Australia's leading viticulturists and believes that working with the land is paramount to creating quality grapes.Their vineyards are very much at the forefront of organic and biodynamic viticulture where they have been certified as fully certified since 2011.
