Deep garnet red in colour. Bright and fresh with red pepper, menthol and violet notes on the nose. Full bodied with juicy red cherry, blackcurrant and cassis, intertwined with savoury dark chocolate and tobacco. 20% of the grapes used in this wine are dried on Amarone-style drying racks before pressing - this adds to a rich, textured finish with great length and savoury tannins.
