A rich nose of honey and toffee introduces you to this wonderfully fruit-cakey Single Malt with flavours of vanilla and toffee and a smooth finish.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Not to be confused with the town of Glenrothes, just north of Edinburgh and home to the huge grain distillery of Cameronbridge, this malt distillery is in fact located in the town of Rothes, between Elgin and Dufftown, where there are five malt whisky producers. Only one carries the name of the town, and that is Glen Rothes. Founded in 1878, the distillery was completed with a small loan from the local church and can be found tucked away along a tiny street off the main road.Scotland Speyside 0.43
