Peat smoke opens to reveal notes of maple cured meat, toffee, and baked apples. Seaside grasses aromas linger and finish in a gentle briny edge. Stewed fruits, sultanas, and currants with milk chocolate flavours combine with crème Brulée. Sweet toffee is complemented by bursts of citrus and a smouldering bonfire ember edge. Lingering oak slowly fades to reveal soft hints of citrus.
About the Producer
Established in 1798, the Tobermory distillery is the only distillery on Mull and one of the oldest commercial distilleries in Scotland. It is unique not just because of its idyllic location, but because it produces two different, but equally alluring, single malts: the fruity, unpeated Tobermory and the more robust and smoky Ledaig.Scotland Island 0.43
