Tasting note

Deep inky purple in appearance with aromas of black plum, mulberry, a hint of white pepper and dried apricot. The palate expresses dark plum, mixed fruit spice, liquorice, chocolate and cedar oak with a framing tannin finish.

About the producer

Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli founded the company in 1928 after they migrated to Australia from Northern Italy. Their son, Deen De Bortoli took over later and was a true visionary of the Australian wine industry. He was at the forefront of innovation and made wine for the people. The Deen Vat Series range is a true reflection and tribute to Deen himself.
