Coto de Imaz Rioja Reserva
Tasting Note
This was an immediate "yes" when we first tasted it ahead of stocking it. Powerfully velvety and balanced, with an intense cherry color with garnet edge. On the nose ripe fruit and fine cocoa, and fleshy on the palate, with ripe tannins and good acidity.
About the Producer
The El Coto vineyards are spread throughout all of the subareas of the Denomination of Origin Rioja. The use of traditional indigenous varieties as well as the newly authorized ones allows them to maintain all the typical characteristics of Rioja in their wines.
