Its construction was commissioned by the affluent Bonin brothers, however their tenure was relatively brief, lasting only a decade, after which the property underwent a changes of hands, including a notable stint with a relative of South American revolutionary, Simón Bolivar. Château Beaumont features a single block vineyard of 113 hectares, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot.
