When an order is placed online, we take a moment to applaud what you have chosen, nod our heads in admiration of your great taste, then take our time to carefully pack everything up for you. All this happens in our very own shops by our own employees, whether you qualify for local or national delivery.
But being local to either our Heswall store or our Frodsham store grants you 3 huge additional benefits.
If you thought that living locally to one of our independent shops couldn’t get any better – it just did. Our local delivery is free when you spend £25.
As we’ve already alluded to, we’re a small, dedicated team. This means that it’ll be one of us who drops off your parcel. From picking your goodies from our warehouse shelves to delivering it to your front door, the greatest care has been taken to guarantee that everything reaches you in tip top condition.
And if you’ve any questions when we arrive, we’ll be able to answer them for you. Plus, we love to see our customers so it’s a win for us too.
IT'S CHOCK-FULL OF FRESHNESS
When you’re browsing the Whitmore & White online shop, you’ll notice a small van icon next to our fresh products. This indicates that the product needs to be handled with extra care and is only suitable for local delivery. Our fresh range includes cheeses, meats, fish, puddings, kimchi, cream, coleslaw, guacamole, ham and a lot more. Take a look at our fresh range here.
Everything you see online is available for local delivery.
CHECK TO SEE IF YOU'RE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE LOCAL DELIVERY
If you’re living in (or sending to) any of these postcodes, you’re within our zone:
WA6_, CH8_, CH1_, CH2_, CH3_, CH4_, CH5_, CH60, CH61, CH63, CH64, CH47, CH48, CH49, CW8_, WA4_, CH66, CH62, CH42, CH41, CH43, CH44, CH45
(Note that the underscore represents a space, so CH3 5XX is eligible, but CH35 XXX would not be.)
Outside of these areas we offer delivery via Parcelforce (a snip at £7.95 no matter how much food and wine you order!) but products with the local delivery icon cannot be delivered by Parcelforce. Or, if you’re close, but not close enough, there is parking on Frodsham’s Main Street, and our Heswall store has its own private car park just to the side of the building.
We deliver every Thursday, but will ramp this up in December to include more delivery day choices. We’ll tell you about any changes on social media and on our website so keep your eyes peeled.
If you’ve any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask us or head to our FAQs.
