If you're one of the hundreds of people who have been using our local delivery service for groceries, wine and spirits since lockdown began, we must start by thanking each and every one of you for supporting our business and of course us! It has been hugely uplifting to have you all rally behind us and carry us through what has been a very tough time for everyone. Going forward, we have decided to keep on doing free local delivery and this will now be a permanent thing that we do, but with a few changes.
So what's changing?
From 25th May, you will be able to choose which day your delivery is made. This is a big step for us to take logistically as it means covering a lot more land each day. As usual we will try our best to fulfill everyone's orders on the day selected. As before we will still be delivering for free on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to the delivery zone shown in the map below. We will also now be delivering on a Saturday too, but for a small charge of £2.50 within the same zone.
Outside of the free zone National Delivery is still available as normal for the rest of the country. This is £7.95, or free for all orders over £100. Note that fresh groceries marked with the "Local Delivery Only" symbol cannot be delivered nationally.
When should I order by?
For local delivery, we recommend placing your orders at the very latest by 12 noon the day before. So if you pick Wednesday delivery and it is already Wednesday, it will arrive the following week as we cannot currently do same day delivery.

Can I still collect in store?
Yes, but only in Heswall & Frodsham where we have a strict one-in-one-out policy in effect. Our Chester store is currently closed until footfall returns to the city centre.
Is there a minimum spend for free local delivery?
Not for the time being. We'd obviously be grateful for orders which make delivery worthwhile for us, but there is no minimum spend.
Can I speak to someone?
Always! Use the numbers above during usual opening hours to speak to one of our staff in store.
